If I could explain the pain and frustration we have gone through this year to help Kyndell read, or understand how to put all the sounds together to make a word you would share in our elation!! Night after night, flashcards, computer programs, reading tutoring once a week (thanks to her awesome school), and finally just waiting for it to "happen" like her teacher has promised.... She pulled out a book, told Daddy she wanted to read to him, and she read the book from front to back!! YEAH!! And then I thought, oh my gosh, my kids are getting so big--pretty soon she won't come to me with her books begging me to read at the most inopportune times :) What a big girl--we are so proud!
